Ingredients
- 2 pieces of sea bass fillet
- 2 lemons (one sliced, one juiced)
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)
- 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 bunch of parsley (finely chopped)
Preparation
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Marinate: Place the sea bass fillets in a large bowl. Add olive oil, lemon juice, thinly sliced garlic, fresh thyme, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Let the fish marinate in this mixture for 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Arrange in Baking Dish: Place the marinated sea bass fillets in a baking dish. Scatter lemon slices and parsley on top.
- Cook: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the sea bass fillets for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
- Serve: Garnish the hot sea bass fillets with lemon slices and fresh parsley before serving.
Serving Suggestion: Baked sea bass with lemon pairs perfectly with fresh green salad, steamed vegetables, or white rice on the side. Enjoy your meal!
