Ingredients

  • 2 lemons (one sliced, one juiced)
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 bunch of parsley (finely chopped)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Marinate: Place the sea bass fillets in a large bowl. Add olive oil, lemon juice, thinly sliced garlic, fresh thyme, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Let the fish marinate in this mixture for 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Arrange in Baking Dish: Place the marinated sea bass fillets in a baking dish. Scatter lemon slices and parsley on top.
  4. Cook: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the sea bass fillets for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
  5. Serve: Garnish the hot sea bass fillets with lemon slices and fresh parsley before serving.
